The stem is perhaps the most important part of any hookah pipe. All of our hookahs include either an Egyptian classic stem or a Persian auto-seal stem. Both are high quality and extremely durable but the Persian auto-seal stem is simply a cut above. The Persian auto-seal stem is made from rust proof brass where the Egyptian classic stem is made from standard stainless steel.
Due to the superior quality brass used to make the Persian auto-seal stem it weighs around 40%-50% more than the Egyptian classic stem; increasing its durability. The Persian auto-seal stem is also equipped with an convenient auto-seal plug mechanism.
Inside is the stem is a metal ball bearing that conveniently regulates the air-flow to the hose. Effectively eliminating the need for extra stem plugs, hose caps or thumbs. Comparatively with a multi hose classic Egyptian stem you would have to plug it with extra stem plugs, hose caps or your thumb to allow others to smoke the additional hoses.
